Remembrance Remains Strong in Wycheproof
From early morning on Friday, a roster operated and was staffed by Wycheproof locals until the traders closed for the day. Pictured before lunch: left to right, Shirlene Noonan (sister of Dawn and daughter of the late Jack Allan), John ‘Rawhide’ McLean (Vietnam Veteran), and Max White (son of the late Keith White) took time out for a photograph, which also featured a large hand created steel Poppy prominently advertising the cause to passers-by on Broadway. Shirlene, John and Max, were all proud to be volunteering for a good cause, take part in a photograph and furthermore, were proud to hold strong family connections to Wycheproof RSL Sub-Branch, continuing a tradition of recognition at a local level for years to come.
