Not all grain transporting activity is confined to the two months of harvest time.
In past weeks, for instance, dozens of B-doubles and other vehicles have lined up at GrainCorp in Donald, not to deliver wheat to local silos and bunkers, but to load up from local storages, and transport the wheat to port at Geelong, or to other destinations within Australia.

The aerial photograph shows wheat trucks waiting their turn near the testing stand, and some of GrainCorp’s bunkers at top right.
Also featured in the top half of the photo are some of the businesses on the Donald Industrial Estate, facing Racecourse Road.
