The volunteers were also promoting the GoodSAM Responder app, which is a free, global, smartphone app that alerts registered Responders when someone nearby is in cardiac arrest. Ambulance Victoria introduced the GOODSam app in Victoria in 2018, initially piloted by health professionals and first-aid trained colleages from partner organisations. The program has been expanded to include a diverse community of registered Responders, who are willing and able to provide CPR, and are familiar with the use of an AED.

Show day patrons gathered in their hundreds at Donald on Saturday, enjoying better weather conditions to check out the many displays, stalls and Show Day activities, including the Lions Club spinning wheel.
