They Came from Near & Far: Many travelled to embrace the occasion. Denise Hooper (nee Pollington), formerly of Culgoa and Kangaroo Lake, travelled from Lake Boga. Denise is pictured with her cousin John Forrester, and sister Judy Noonan. Denise and Judy are daughters of the late Capt. George “Poll” Pollington MM. MC, who served in the 24th Battalion. The three cousins enjoyed meeting-up and reminiscing.
