They’re Real Trimmers!
1 min read

This was the scene in Hammill Street, Donald, mid-afternoon on Wednesday.

In the bucket of the 17-metre “tower”, and right into the branches of the tree, was Juhari Yahya, a contractor employed by Powercor to trim the trees around power lines, and below service lines to some local houses.

At ground level was Ken Heffernan, from VGA (Vegetation Group of Australia), whose Victorian office is at Mount Waverley.

Also in Donald at the time was another truck and “chipper” with the severed branches being later converted to a “mulch” of wooden chips.

Currently accommodated at Wycheproof, the workers were back in Donald yesterday to continue the “pruning” process.
