New Chapter for Donald Timber Yard
On September 14, the Donald Timber Yard officially reopened its doors under new ownership, with Alistair Michael and his partner, Amanda Maddumage, excited to take on the well-known local business.
The opportunity to own and operate an established business in Donald was too good to pass up, particularly with three teenage boys who will each have the chance to gain valuable work experience along the way.
Noah, 15, Caleb, 13, and Blake, 11, have already played their part in revamping the iconic business, and it is likely customers will see plenty more of the boys around the yard in the not-too-distant future.
For now, Alistair and Amanda are on hand to help customers with all their timber and hardware needs, offering friendly, practical service and a willingness to help find the right solution for every job, whether it is a small home project or a larger building task.
The Donald Timber Yard continues to provide timber in full lengths or cut to order, along with a good range of hardware supplies, ELGAS Swap ’n’ Go, Peerless compressors and much more.
Customers are encouraged to call in and meet the new owners and see what the Donald Timber Yard has to offer.
