Men’s Shed Keeps Machinery Moving
The Hornsby engine, sitting in the Men’s Shed, running!. You can’t see the spokes of the big flywheel or smaller pulley, but water is visible between a pipe and the top of the mesh “radiator”. The lower portion is the newly manufactured water tank. Now we are waiting for Hasco to create two new big and bearing shells. The piston is roughly 9 inches in diameter, and has about a 12 inch stroke, working revs are about 400 r.p.m..
