Biggest Morning Tea for Birchip
The Birchip Neighbourhood House hosted this year’s Cancer Council’s Biggest Morning Tea, bringing the community together for a meaningful cause.
Fresh scones with jam and cream were on the menu on Monday, when the Neighbourhood House held its annual morning tea.
The Birchip Neighbourhood House also provided an in-office delivery service to businesses around town. Over 75 Devonshire tea packs were delivered, while thirty-five guests visited the Shamrock Youth Room to enjoy a cuppa and a chat.
Acting manager of the Neighbourhood House, Prue McCredden, welcomed everyone and thanked the community for supporting the morning tea. She emphasised the importance of coming together, noting that cancer affects us all.
The event was a great success, raising a total of $871 for the Cancer Council. This result highlights the generosity and spirit of the Birchip community.
