$5000 up for grabs in tractor pull challenge

This year the Wimmera Field Days will hold the inaugural Field Days “Footy Club Tractor Pull”.

This will be held on the first day of the Field Days today from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., as part of the Twilight Ag Expo (free entry after 3 p.m. on this day).

The Field Days Footy Club Tractor Pull is a great opportunity for clubs to possibly raise some extra funds and to also get all the local footy clubs involved in something fun and unique at the Wimmera Field Days.

The Wimmera Field Days and sponsor Ace Radio will offer the following: • Cash prize pool of $5,000 for successful clubs with the winning team taking home $2,500 cash as first prize for its club.

• Free entry into the Field Days for all club team members involved in the Tractor Pull.

• Chance to take home the inaugural Tractor Pull “Champion Club” trophy.

Teams of 12 will compete to pull a 10-12 tonne tractor over a certain distance in a Tractor Pull time trial against other teams
