The Donald Whole of Town Garage Sale has over 30 garage sale participants wanting to downsize and declutter.
The sale is on Sunday, September 4, Fathers’ Day, so bring your “dad” out for a look around in Donald. In previous years, some garage sales have picked up over $2,000.
It is not just a number of garage sales to explore, there will be the Creswick Lions free kids’ train rides in the Mall; also music in the Mall with two local bands and a couple of individual performers and guitarists; and a craft market at the post Office in Woods Street.
The stalls open at 8.30 a.m., just follow the orange sale signs and balloons. Maps are available from Kez Duncan’s shop in McCulloch Street, and in the Woods Street Mall.
Some of the feature items are the goods available from Ask for Art, and William Carr in 74 Woods Street; music and musical instruments from Maria in Woods Street (south), and a heap of other goods and collectables.
This is an opportunity for the kids to get involved in sales and decluttering. Donald 2000 is still taking bookings from people wanting to clear some goods and make some funds from items no longer required. For further information, contact Kez Duncan (0428 547 170), or Graeme Harris (0419 547 897).
